It’s funny how time just moves at lightening speed. I feel like yesterday was the beginning of 2018…but its the end of it.
I have been 2 years weight free…I’m still amazed at this accomplishment. Every day I look in the mirror and have a hard time realizing its me. It seems hard to believe, but I still see the overweight unhealthy woman…I don’t know if that will ever go away. But I won’t go back to that person…I am healthy in every way I can be…and I plan on staying that way…
I wish for all a healthy fulfilling 2019…may you find what you’re looking for…
So Fall is now upon us. So that means heavy sweaters, sweats, coats and everything else that goes along with that. This is the time to make us complacent on our appearance. We can hide extra weight with our clothes.
But, how would it feel to not have to hide anything? Just a thought…
As I walk around grocery stores, department stores and everything in-between…I see so many people that I look at and think to myself…I can help that person. But I think that people have gotten so comfortable with expecting the healthcare industry to take care of them, that they are stuck in a box and can’t see how they are so much more than that box. Even if you aren’t interested in my help…please look around and really look at yourself. Do you want to live like this the rest of your life? Would you like to keep up with your kids/grandkids? How about walking through a store without assistance? Its time to get out of the box and explore the world…I did it and I know you can too!
What keeps a person from getting assistance for overall health? I’m sure that part of it is cost related, however, take the cost amount and divide it by the next, say, 30+ years and what is the daily cost? Just wondering…
